Who: Friends of Make-A-Wish® Greater Bay Area.
What: Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area External Events run year round to support Make-A-Wish through a variety of fundraising and awareness events on a date of your choice. Events can be small or large, private or public, day, night-time or holiday-themed events that bring together your friends, family, or coworkers to support your efforts. This also includes individual events, such as marathons, triathlons, etc. Be creative and have fun!
Where: A location of your choice within the Greater Bay Area. Events can occur in your home, your workplace, your gym, a local restaurant...it's up to you!
When: A day or weekend of your choice any time of the year!
Why: Help be a part of an amazing collaborative effort to raise funds, increase awareness and gain support for Make-A-Wish! All funds raised will help support the Foundation's mission of granting wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
How: Register today to host a fundraising initiative. Click on the "Register Here" button on the top of this page to get started! Fill out the form with your contact information and proposed event ideas (date, time, type of event, etc). Once you have registered, you will receive a personal user-friendly webpage to share with friends and collect online donations. All events are subject to approval by Make-A-Wish.
